Blueseventy Supports SheStrong Triathlon Team
Blueseventy has partnered with SheStrong, a not-for-profit organisation that empowers cancer impacted women to take positive and supported steps in their fitness journeys. SheStrong founder, Brandy Ramirez has a long history in endurance sport and the partnership will particularly benefit her and the team taking part at Ironman 70.3 Eagleman in Cambridge Maryland next month. Arizona based Ramirez founded SheStrong after a breast cancer diagnosis. She realized that competing again would allow her to fight back and regain her own identity, and that creating SheStrong would benefit others through an invaluable network of likeminded women. SheStrong is now thriving...

Like many athletes, blueseventy professional triathlete Justin Metzler, is incorporating more strength work using stretch cords while he's stuck on dryland during the Coronavirus shut downs. "It's not a time where we have to take a step back on our swimming, if anything i'm looking at it myself as an opportunity to improve not only my muscular strength via the stretch cords, but also dialing in some of the technique." Check out the video from Justin below where he'll go through how he's using the stretch cords including a basic set similar to what he's doing and recommending to his...
Carrie Lester: Using Stretch Cords during Covid-19
Missing your familiar pool sessions during the Coronavirus shut downs? We checked in with blueseventy professional triathlete Carrie Lester to see how she's making the most of the time out of the water. "Most of us are well into COVID-19 lockdown now, with no sign yet of when we will be back swimming in our local pools. It is inevitable that over this time some swim fitness will be lost, but we can do our best to maintain some strength and technique from some dry land exercises. I am a big fan of the Swim Cordz (stretch cordz, swim bands...
