PLU set to swim faster with blueseventy

We're excited to announce the addition of Pacific Lutheran University, the Tacoma based Northwest Conference swimming champions, to our roster of sponsored swim team programs. PLU was founded in 1890, and it’s NCAA Division III swim team is enjoying success in the pool as well as the classroom, with a streak of three straight conference titles to go along with Scholar All-America Team Awards for the men’s and women’s teams.

Lutes swimmers will have early access to our new performance swimwear range launching this month, goggles including the new Nero Elite, swim bags and the r10 technical race suit, which propelled athletes of the highest level to medal winning performances this summer.

PLU head coach Matt Sellman said: "We are excited to work with blueseventy, a company local to us with good people and great products. It's a great fit for our program.” Sellman recently became the first coach in conference history to be named NWC Women's Swimming Coach of the Year for four consecutive seasons.

Our team sales coordinator, Molly Larson, added: “We’re really pleased to be able to support PLU swimmers to achieve their best in the pool this season. We have seen athletes this summer request the new r10 for the very highest level of competition, and I’m excited to help facilitate the same opportunity for the Lutes.”

The Lutes begin their season at the Northwest Conference Relay and Spring meet in Forest Grove, Oregon on October 28th.  Follow the PLU swim team here.
