ALL FOR THE SWIM: Kona 2017

ALL FOR THE SWIM: Kona 2017

This year's IRONMAN World Championship is going down on Saturday, October 14th, and blueseventy will be there a full week ahead of the event to ensure athletes are equipped with the very finest swim gear on race day. Heading to Kona and wondering where to find us? You've come to the right place. Here's a snapshot of where we will be stationed throughout the week.

the blueseventy booth

Uncle Billy's
Monday, Oct. 9 - Friday, Oct. 13
9 AM - 5 PM

Shop blueseventy, Rudy Project, Wattie Ink and more at Uncle Billy's on Ali'i Drive. We will have a tremendous amount of Kona inspired product on-hand: swimskins including the new short sleeve PZ4TX+, goggles (featuring the new NR2 race goggle) and our summer swimwear. Looking to upgrade your swimskin? Good news for you: Bring it to our booth for a discount on a brand new one. We take swimskins from any brand in any condition. Even if you don't need any blueseventy gear (cause you're smart and you got everything you needed months ahead of time - yea, we know your type), drop by to spin the winning wheel for a chance to score some sweet limited edition Kona gear.

Coffee Boat

Kailua Bay (about 500 meters from Dig Me Beach)
Monday, Oct. 9 - Friday, Oct. 13
7 AM until the coffee runs dry (around 9 AM)

No trip to the IRONMAN World Championship is complete without sipping coffee in the middle of the sea. We've teamed up with our friends at CLIF Bar to host this year's Coffee Boat. Don't miss this chance to sip on one of the best cups of Joe you will get on the island. Coffee not your jam? No sweat, we will also have a great selection of CLIF Electrolyte Drink Mix. Be sure to get there early and get one of our orange bracelets that the blueseventy crew will have daily. Stop by our booth at Uncle Billy's with your bracelet and score free goggles!

blueseventy Wake Up Swim

Dig Me Beach
Wednesday, October 11
7:30 AM

We will be hosting a wake-up swim on Wednesday morning at 7:30 to the Coffee Boat. Join blueseventy athletes Tim Don (current IRONMAN World Record holder), Camilla Pedersen, Pete Jacobs (2012 IRONMAN World Champion), Kate Bevilaqua, Guy Crawford and others at Dig Me Beach (look for the orange blueseventy flag). Be sure to ask the athletes for an orange bracelet and drop by the blueseventy booth later for a free pair of goggles. If Kailua Bay doesn't wake you up, the coffee at the boat definitely will!
