Leading out of the water

We have had a busy week of sponsorship news from around the globe.
All our New Zealand boys are lined up for action at the the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland!  Ryan Sissons, Tom Davison and Tony Dodds have all raced well to be selected and wear bluseventy wetsuits and our apparel.
We also have Kiwi Charlotte Webby who will race in the Pan Pac's open water competition in our Helix wetsuit.

Camilla Pedersen (DEN) won Challenge Fuerteventura in the Spanish Canary Islands.  This was Camilla's first race back after a near-fatal bike crash last September left her in a coma for weeks.  Amazing and inspiring to see Camilla back at the top of her game.  Look out Kona- Camilla is back in top form.

This weekend at the St Anthony's Triathlon in St Petersburg Florida, Hunter Lussi (USA) led the men's race out of the water by 40 seconds in our tx3000 trisuit.  Sara McLarty (USA) led the women out of the water.  Sara does not wear our apparel but is a valued brand ambassador and wears our wetsuit and uses our goggles and swim/tri accessories.  blueseventy ambassador Radka Vodickova (CZE) finished 3rd and Sara McLarty 5th at the iconic event.

Our ITU athletes did well in Cape Town South Africa for the World Triathlon Series event there. Aaron Harris (GBR) had a breakthrough race finishing in 7th, his best ever result by far.   Aaron ran the 3rd fastest run of the day. We've been supporting Aaron for the last 2 years of this sharp development.  Ryan Sissons (NZL) mentioned above, finished 10th.  Gordon Benson (GBR)  made his debut as a 19 year old and finished 26th. Lucy Hall (GBR) led out the women's swim in her Helix wetsuit and controlled the bike which set up the 1-2 finish for her GBR teammates.  Lucy is a strong up and coming ITU performer- and a very valuable teammate to her fast running countrywomen.

Attached is a picture we grabbed from the BBC TV - it shows national broadcast of the ITU World Triathlon Series Cape Town event this past weekend. Interviews were with the Scottish National team, wearing their training gear badged with our logo.  We are proud to support many athletes and clubs in the UK region.
