This past weekend was a busy one with blueseventy sponsored athletes/ambassadors winning swims and races around the globe.

Longtime blueseventy athlete Luke Bell (AUS) won Ironman Mt Tremblant in Canada- this event is  featured by Ironman as the the North American Championship race.  Kudos to Luke who is having a great year - we look forward to Kona!

Continuing on her terrific form Melissa Hauschildt (AUS) dominated the women’s field to take the title at Ironman 70.3 Timberman in New Hampshire.  Mel has her sights set squarely on 70.3 Worlds and a 2nd title there.

QT2 Systems pro Pedro Gomes of Portugal took his second Iron-distance title this year at Ironman Sweden.  Pedro had a race best swim of 48mins to start off his winning day.  Great success for many of the QT2 athletes this year - their program is second to none.
Gina Crawford (NZ) ran away to win at Ironman 70.3 Yeppoon in Queensland, Australia.  Gina swam and biked at the front but cemented her win with a killer run.  Fellow blueseventy athletes Tim Van Berkel (AUS) was 2nd in the men's race and Michelle Wu (AUS) was 3rd on the women's podium.

Before signing off there was some exciting news in the Ironman world last week.  They have announced another event in North America - Chattanooga Tennessee in Fall of 2014.  August & September have become filled with a flurry of races!
