Major German award for blueseventy Helix
7 Mar 2011
Following hot on the heels of the 220 Triathlon Magazine Wetsuit of the Year Award, the Helix has again been recognized by the end user as the suit of choice in a recent consumer survey run by Das Triathlon of Germany. Blueseventy are extremely proud to have had this result from another of Europe’s biggest consumer voting surveys, which recognizes the quality and performance in the Helix, making it by far the most favoured wetsuit by European triathletes.
Dean Jackson, Global Sales and Marketing Manager at blueseventy, commented; “we’re delighted to accept a further award, which continues to endorse our status as the world leader in triathlon and open water wetsuits. This second award further supports our vision and passion for wetsuit development because the people who matter most – the athletes, are voting for us. Different markets have different needs and with the recognition bestowed upon the company it shows that the Helix meets all those needs and high expectations.”
Far from resting on the success of the Helix, Blueseventy have continued to evolve the wetsuit market. They released the new range of Balanced Buoyancy suits in 2010 – it is the first range of wetsuits developed to match suit buoyancy with the specific biomechanical needs of the athlete. The range has been a great success with triathletes, particularly those not from a strong swimming background.
blueseventy shared more success this month by collecting two further awards at the inaugural “Triathlon America” Conference in San Diego, where they collected awards for the performances of their elite athletes.
German Triathlon Star Timo Bracht commented: I have swum in many suits and the Blueseventy Helix is by far the most flexible and comfortable I have ever used, it really is not a surprise that the demanding German triathlete has chosen this suit. Congratulations all at blueseventy”
