Haskins first across line at St Anthony’s Triathlon, Florida

Matt Reed, a New Zealand native on the U.S. Olympic team, placed first in the St. Anthony’s Triathlon in Florida this past weekend for the second consecutive year. He finished the race with a time of 1:46.34. Reed also won the 2007 race.
Reed was followed 18 seconds later by the current Ironman 70.3 World Champion and blueseventy athlete, Andy Potts. Potts had a great swim, to lead out over Reed.
Greg Bennett came in third place with a time of 1:47:43.
In the women’s field, Sarah Haskins (another blueseventy star) placed first overall with a time of 1:59.24. She was followed by Rebeccah Wassner, (who chooses to wear blueseventy) in 2.00.34 and then Mirinda Carfrae in 2.01.52.
