bluseventy in demand in ROME
23 Jul 2009
Guy Crawford our sponsorship manager, and Dean Jackson, Sales and Marketing Manager have been on the ground in Rome for the Open water events, and today set up at our booth at the pool. Demand for the suits have been much higher than expected, people really seem to want to get into a nero for their race, and their are now concerns we may run out of stock, even though we have taken the recommended numbers of stock from FINA. SOS calls have been made to our EU and Uk warehouses, and they are standing by to ship in additional units to fulfill any shortfall and make sure athletes have suits if they need one.
The mens and womens 10K races we’re fantastic viewing, with blueseventy again the suit of choice for more competitors than any other brand, and with Andrew Gemmel second in the mens race it was another medal performance for the 10K suit, the only specifically designed suit for the 10K open water events, and official suit for the 10K FINA marathon World Cup. Full open water results and updates are on http://www.thewaterisopen.com
Keep following the blogs for details, our staff are hoping to have some video footage up there soon.
