blueseventy’s Comerford Wins IM Lanzarote
30 May 2008
Another blueseventy star, Bella Comerford took her 2nd Ironman win of the year this past weekend at Ironman Lanzarote. Bella is hugely positive on her win and still buzzing a week on, but is already back training hard for her next race the UK 70.3 Ironman event on June 15th [Stephen Bayliss is also racing this event] and her big goal of the year Ironman Hawaii.
“I am recovering very well and am still so excited and happy about my win! It is such a huge achievement to come across the finish line in first place in what is known as the world’s toughest Ironman and with competitive girls in the race too! My recent win in South Africa and now here in Lanzarote will help my fitness and confidence for the future. But now, I continue to train as I have been to continue preparing for the rest of the season.”
Congratulations Bella, and best of luck with UK 70.3!
