The Helix has won more races than any other wetsuit, ever. The standard shelf version was first out of the water at the London 2012 Olympics in both the men's and women's triathlon event. It is relied on by the world's fastest athletes to get them out of the water with less effort and more energy for the bike. No other wetsuit is so copied and envied by our competitors. And no other brand's flagship wetsuit is available in a sleeveless specific model.
The Helix is based on over 20 years of fit and testing data across pros and elite athletes. It tiers buoyancy 5-5-4, maximizing core buoyancy using Yamamoto Aerodome neoprene in the split chest panel and torso panel of the suit. Our now legendary and distinctive blue TST panels improve range of motion even in a sleeveless model. The reverse zipper reduces chaffing and makes it easier to sight. It truly is in a world of it's own in function, durability and style.
BUOYANCY: The Helix tiers buoyancy 5-5-4, centralizing Core buoyancy to raise the position of the hips in relation to the rest of the swimmer.
CHEST: RATING 5mm
The Helix uses two layered chest panels that naturally and anatomically accentuate the lungs in producing the optimal amount of buoyancy for the swimmer in the upper body.
TORSO: RATING 5mm + AERODOME
The torso uses a core panel of Yamamoto Aerodome material to deliver a maximal central buoyancy zone in the suit, keeping the hips high and promoting an efficient downhill swimming position.
LOWER LEGS: RATING 4mm
Research with top swimmers has shown that our 4mm Yamamoto 39 cell neoprene legs deliver the perfect blend of buoyancy without limiting drive from the kick.
