Hauschildt Wins 2nd IM 70.3 World Title

World Champion has a nice ring to it.  Melissa Hauschildt (AUS) earned her second opportunity to wear that title this past Sunday in Henderson NV, outside of Las Vegas.  Melissa who comes from an elite running background and has used her run to put her on top of the 70.3 and middle distance podium throughout her career.  Two years ago when she won her first 70.3 World Championship she was new on the "scene" and probably overlooked by many.  This year no such luck- but Melissa has been doggedly working on her swim and bike to not give too much time to the fastest swimmers and use strength on the bike to work toward the front...and then unleash her run.  Sunday was went to plan in that regard and the top of the podium is hers.  Melissa joins the honors that blueseventy athletes Leanda Cave (former 70.3 World Champ and current IM World Champ) and Pete Jacobs (current Ironman World Champion) hold making us proud and humble that we work with such a talented group.  Keep an eye on Melissa over the next few years, she combines the swim-bike-run in a lethal fashion at the 70.3 distance and we are certain to see her take on Ironman distance racing-  the only question is when?  Congratulations Melissa!
