blueseventy is pleased to announce an expanded line of women’s specific wetsuit sizes for 2014. Based on retailer feedback that more women then ever before are coming to triathlon from all backgrounds blueseventy found that additional sizes were necessary for achieving the best fit. As many athletes know, fit is the most crucial aspect to how a wetsuit feels and performs.
“Our retailers gave us a clear message that there is a body type that no wetsuit manufacturer was committed to fitting,” said John Duquete, Head of Sales and Operations for blueseventy. “With the help of those retailers and product testers we’re proud to say we’ve developed new sizes to help ensure every swimmer can find a suit that allows them to maximize their performance and allow them to feel safe and comfortable in the water.”
Proving that Femme Fit is ever evolving the new sizes will expand blueseventy’s women’s specific wetsuit line to 9 sizes. The improved Femme Fit line will include two new sizes and feature a refined bust and torso shape, a lowered neckline, a slimmer fit in critical areas for a better feel in the water and an extended zipper length to accommodate wider hips for easier, faster transitions. Femme Fit encompasses blueseventy’s goal to make the best wetsuits for all athletes, from first out of the water to first timers.
